Visit the State Bar's Legal Career Center

The State Bar's Legal Career Center is available for legal professionals seeking employment opportunities and employers hiring legal professionals.

The State Bar partnered with Legalstaff.com, the nation's largest "legal-only" job and resume site, providing access to a national legal career network of nearly 3,500 positions - from lawyers to paralegals, legal administrators, and support positions. The Legal Career Center also offers employment-related resources, including sample forms, contracts, resumes, cover letter rules, and interviewing tips and techniques.

The online service is free for job seekers, who can confidentially search for local and nationwide opportunities or sign up to receive electronic notice of new opportunities through the site's Career Agent. Job seekers also can post their confidential resume online for potential employers to review and can choose when to release their resume.

Employers can post jobs, search resumes, automate resume searches via email, and manage job postings quickly and easily online. The cost to place one job posting for 30 days is $95; for one month of unlimited postings, $395. Other frequency discounts are available. Legalstaff.com guarantees employers will receive qualified responses from postings through the Career Center, or it will run the ad free for an additional 30 days.
