    Inside the Bar October 2004: Upcoming CLE seminars include annual bankruptcy, estate planning, and ABOTA institute

    Wisconsin federal judges, experienced practitioners, and trustees will examine the most current issues concerning business and consumer bankruptcies at the 2004 Annual Bankruptcy Update. The program will include a comprehensive case law update and substantive presentations with commentary from an outstanding judicial panel.

    Upcoming CLE seminars include annual bankruptcy, estate planning, and ABOTA institute

    Wisconsin federal judges, experienced practitioners, and trustees will examine the most current issues concerning business and consumer bankruptcies at the 2004 Annual Bankruptcy Update. The program will include a comprehensive case law update and substantive presentations with commentary from an outstanding judicial panel.

    The live program for Western District locations will be presented on Oct. 29 in Madison, and the video seminar will be presented on Dec. 9 at select locations. The live program for Eastern District locations will be presented on Oct. 28 in Milwaukee, and the video seminar will be presented on Dec. 10 at select locations. The seminar runs from 8 a.m. to 4:35 p.m.

    Tuition is $199. The program will be submitted for up to 7.0 CLE credits, 1.0 EPR credits, and will be submitted for Minnesota CLE credits.

    Some of Wisconsin's most accomplished estate planners will be on hand at the 25th Annual Estate Planning Update seminar to review today's important planning issues, examine the most recent developments in estate planning, and provide useful advice, practice tips, and sample language and forms that are invaluable to an estate planning practice

    The live seminar is scheduled for Nov. 10 in Milwaukee, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The video seminar is scheduled for Dec. 14 at statewide locations. Tuition is $199. The program has been submitted for up to 7.5 CLE credits, does not qualify for EPR credits, and will be submitted for Minnesota CLE credits.

    The 15th Annual Institute of Trial Practice, sponsored by the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and State Bar CLE Seminars, will again feature some of Wisconsin's most experienced trial lawyers presenting a real case before a "jury" of their peers.

    The live seminar is scheduled for Nov. 12 in Waukesha, 8 a.m. - 5:35 p.m. The video seminar is scheduled for Dec. 15 at statewide locations. Tuition is $199. The program has been submitted for up to 9.0 CLE credits, does not qualify for EPR credits, and will be submitted for Minnesota CLE credits.

    Start times listed include a 30-minute registration period.
