Insights into Wisconsin's Revised LLC Law: Wisconsin Solo and Small Firm Conference

Gain and share your practice insights with colleagues at the Wisconsin Solo and Small Firm Conference. Reserve your spot now for the best rates, and join us in Wisconsin Dells in October.

Sept. 6, 2023 – This year you adjusted your advice to your business clients after the implementation of Wisconsin’s Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act.

Effective Jan. 1, 2023, and codified at Wis. Stat. Chapter 183, the revised act represents a fundamental shift from certain areas of longstanding Wisconsin LLC law.

What insights do you have as we approach a year into its implementation? How has your advice to LLC and member clients changed because of the new law’s provisions?

Check in with your colleagues to assess the new law’s impacts on business entity formation, compliance, transactions, and litigation at the session, “One Year Later: Effects of the New Uniform LLC Law,” with Jason Brasch of Bakke Norman in Eau Claire, and Sam Wayne of Neider & Boucher, S.C., Madison.

This session is just one in the substantive law track at the Wisconsin Solo and Small Firm Conference (WSSFC), Oct. 19-21, 2023, in Wisconsin Dells – and is one of four tracks at WSSFC, along with practice management, technology, and quality of life and ethics.

WSSFC is designed specifically to address the challenges that small firms face, and gives you the space to learn, network, and troubleshoot among peers. It’s where you get tips on what to do as your practice grows and is a great place to meet colleagues and expand your connections.
