Volunteers needed to educate youth about the law in January, February, and March

Dec. 2, 2009 – Would you like to get involved in programs that educate young people about the rule of law and provide an understanding and appreciation of the law, the legal system, and the rights and responsibilities of citizens?

Hundreds of attorney volunteers are needed for the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution mock congressional hearings and the Wisconsin High School Mock Trial programs.

The Mock Trial Program teaches high school students about the law and the legal system. The program needs lawyers to serve as judges on Saturday, Feb. 13, at statewide locations and on Sunday, March 14 in Madison. We the People is a national program that culminates with state-level mock congressional hearings. Volunteers are needed to serve as judges on Friday, Jan. 8, in Madison.
