    Foonberg offers real answers, for real practices, gained from real experiences at the October Solo and Small Firm Conference

    Jay FoonbergAug. 5, 2009 – Author Jay Foonberg is one of the most highly sought after CLE educators in the nation, and he will speak at the October 2009 Wisconsin Solo and Small Firm Conference in the Wisconsin Dells, Oct. 29 - 31.

    New at this year’s program – Cell Phone Recycling

    Donate your old cell phones and PDAs at the conference and receive a special gift. (One gift per person.) Legacy Cellular will donate between $1 and $25 for each cell phone turned in at the conference. Funds raised will go towards scholarships for future Wisconsin Solo and Small Firm Conference registrations at reduced rates. Be sure to collect phones from your homes, offices, local bar associations, and civic groups.

    During his Friday luncheon presentation, “10 Steps to a Happy and Successful Law Practice,” Foonberg will give the simple no-cost tools you need to ethically attract and keep good clients, and control your practice and your life through planning.

    Author of How to Start and Build a Law Practice and How to Get and Keep Good Clients, Foonberg has led seminars and taught client relations, malpractice prevention, ethics and client development in all 50 states. Foonberg was a CLE Spotlight program speaker at the 2002 State Bar of Wisconsin Annual Convention.

    Other featured speakers. Dustin Cole will present a special 2 ½-hour preconference program, “How To Survive and Thrive in a Down Economy,” on Thursday morning. The conference then kicks off with an afternoon plenary session, “Building the Perfect Client Centered Practice,” presented by Jim Calloway, Director of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Management Assistance Program.

    The 2009 Wisconsin Solo & Small Conference offers more than 32 education and training sessions in four different tracks and plenary sessions.
