and

Case 37

No. 56772

MA-10407

ARBITRATION AWARD

Sheboygan Falls Faculty Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and Sheboygan Falls School District (hereinafter referred to as the District) jointly selected Daniel Nielsen of the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission to serve as arbitrator of a dispute concerning the layoff of teacher Phyllis Ladwig. A hearing was held on December 18, 1998, at the District's offices in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. Prior to the commencement of the hearing, the parties engaged in mediation with the arbitrator and a tentative agreement was reached resolving the grievance, subject to ratification by the School Board. The School Board ratified the tentative agreement on December 21, 1998, and the parties requested that the arbitrator set forth their agreement in a Consent Award.

The terms of the proposed Award were reviewed in the presence of the parties' representatives, the grievant and the arbitrator, and all agreed that those terms were agreeable, and fully resolved the grievance.
