Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53201-2073, appearing on behalf of the Union.
Teamsters "General" Local No. 200 (hereinafter referred to as the Union) and ANR
Transportation Company, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) selected Daniel
Nielsen of the
Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission to serve as arbitrator of a dispute concerning
a back pay
and benefits claim by driver Charles Pearce. A hearing was held on November 9, 1998, at
offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In discussion between the parties prior to the
commencement of the
hearing, an agreement was reached resolving the grievance. The parties requested that the
forth their agreement in a Consent Award. The terms of the proposed Consent Award were
the presence of the parties' representatives, the grievant and the arbitrator, and all agreed
that those terms
were agreeable, and fully resolved the grievance.
Now, having considered the terms of the proposed Consent Award and finding them
consistent with the collective bargaining agreement, the undersigned makes the following
The Company shall pay $8,000.00 to Charles Pearce's equipment owner, Chnope
for pension, health insurance, wages and equipment net for the period in dispute. This
resolves this dispute.
