ORDER HOLDING PETITION IN ABEYANCE

Wisconsin Council 40, AFSCME, AFL-CIO having filed a petition (Case 84) with the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission seeking to clarify certain professional employees employed by Wood County at its Norwood Health Center into an existing Wood County unit of professional employees represented for the purposes of collective bargaining by Wood County Courthouse, Social Services and United Services Employees, Local 2486, AFSCME, AFL-CIO; and Teamsters General Union, Local 662 having filed a petition

(Case 151) with the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission seeking an election to determine whether certain professional and non-professional employees employed by Wood County at its Norwood Health Center wish to be represented by Local 662; and Wood County having filed a motion with the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission asking that Case 84 be held in abeyance until hearing is held and decision issued in Case 151; and Teamsters having advised the Commission that it supports the County motion; and AFSCME having advised the Commission that it opposes the County motion; and the Commission having considered the matter and being satisfied that there is a sufficient relationship between the two petitions to have them considered and decided by the Commission at the same time;

To maximize the ability of the parties we serve to utilize the Internet and computer software to research decisions and arbitration awards issued by the Commission and its staff, footnote text is found in the body of this decision.

NOW, THEREFORE, it is

ORDERED

Further processing of Case 84 is held in abeyance pending completion of hearing 1/ and submission of written argument in Case 151.

1/ Upon our own motion, the record in Case 84 is hereby made part of the record in Case 151 and all parties in Case 84 are entitled to be parties in Case 151.
