ORDER DENYING MOTION FOR DEFAULT JUDGMENT

Madison Teachers Incorporated having, on April 29, 1998, filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission alleging that the above-named Respondents had committed certain prohibited practices within the meaning of the Municipal Employment Relations Act; and the Commission having, on May 20, 1998, appointed Lionel L. Crowley, a member of its staff, to act as Examiner and to make and issue Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Order as provided in Sec. 111.07(5), Stats.; and the Examiner having, on May 20, 1998, issued a Notice of Hearing on Complaint which provided that Respondents could file an answer to said complaint on or before June 1, 1998; and Complainant having, on June 3, 1998, filed a Motion for Default Judgment based on the Respondents' failure to file an answer as required by Wis. Adm. Code, sec. ERC 12.03(6); and the Examiner having considered the Complainant's Motion;

NOW, THEREFORE, it is

ORDERED

The Motion for Default Judgment is denied.
