Solo and Small Firm Practice Committee
Welcome to the Solo and
Small Firm Practice Committee's Home Page! It's not easy being a solo
practitioner or a small-office attorney in today's competitive legal
marketplace, and our goal is to provide you with a variety of resources
which we believe will make your professional and personal life a little
easier.
In addition to pointing out the wealth of resources currently
available to attorneys like yourself on the Internet, we'll keep you
up-to-date with committee documents for your review. We've also included
the committee roster so you can contact us with your suggestions, gripes
and, well, stories from the front lines!
Marketing Tip of the Month:
Phasing the Billing Process. If you send out a
large number of bills each month, consider billing a portion of those
bills each week. The easy way to divide the bills is alphabetically.
By billing a segment of your accounts each week, you should see a
leveling out of the cash flow. This will reduce the periods of feast or
famine. -
