State Bar president urges legislators to make access to justice a priority
Poverty should not be a barrier to justice in Wisconsin, yet a study
released by the State Bar in March, 'Bridging the Gap: Wisconsin's Unmet Legal Needs,' shows that more than 500,000 state residents routinely cope with evictions, divorces, and other critical legal issues on their own.
