May Convention celebrates 50th anniversaries, recognizes members' public service contributions
More than 1,000 members attended the 2005 State Bar Annual Convention in Milwaukee in May, the highest attendance since 1996. This year's celebration included the swearing in of the State Bar president and recognition of lawyers who passed the 50-year milestone in the legal profession, made outstanding pro bono, public service, or law-related education contributions in 2004, or made a difference during President Michelle Behnke's term.

Mentorship awards presented at second annual "Building for Success" seminar
Nearly 200 lawyers attended the second annual "Building for Success" seminar on the first day of the annual convention. A highlight of the all-day seminar was the presentation of mentorship awards to six attorneys for their exemplary service to the legal profession.
