Douglas W. Kammer, Kammer & Studinski Chartered, Portage, won the race for State Bar president-elect, defeating Thomas W. Bertz, Anderson, O’Brien, Bertz, Skrenes & Golla, Stevens Point and Kenneth A. Knudson, Knudson, Gee & Torvinen S.C., Superior. Judicial members to pay Public Interest Legal Services Fund

On March 25, the Wisconsin Supreme Court extended to judicial members a $50 annual assessment to provide funding for civil legal services for people who cannot afford an attorney. More
