Case Synopsis
Plaintiff was new on his job loading vending machines at the Defendant
Bank. He drove his employer’s delivery truck down the Bank’s
ramp to the loading dock only to break the key in the ignition. He
walked back up the ramp and went through a service door to meet his boss
who was bringing a new key. When he stepped back through the service
door, he fell on a downward sloping platform, injuring both wrists.
Plaintiff sought medical treatment. Following his accident, the Bank
made some changes including the addition of a concrete step on the ramp
outside the service door. Issues include liability and damages.
Witnesses will include Plaintiff, defendant’s Property Manager,
plaintiff Co-employee, Vocational experts, plaintiff’s Orthopedic
Surgeon, plaintiff’s Liability Expert, and defendant’s IME
physician.
