    Business law transactions and business litigation. Trial advocacy, contracts, real estate, debtor/creditor, tax, uniform commercial code, securities, labor law, and local government law.

    University of Wisconsin-Madison

  5. What law school experience most impacted your life was most influential?

    The need to develop detailed critical thinking and analysis skills.

  6. How did you find your first legal job and where did you work?

    Law school interview, Herrling Clark Law Firm Ltd.     

  7. Who has most influenced your legal career and why?

    Judges and lawyers older than me. You learn a lot from both of them about practical and meaningful application of the law.

  8. What do you like best about being an attorney?

    Continuing new challenges involving the legal aspects of all phases of human interaction

  9. If you could share only one thought or piece of advice with current law students, what would it be? 

    Work hard and be patient. It takes awhile to become a reliable and proficient legal advisor. Keep learning. Ask your law partners lots of questions but also learn from your own research.
