Why do I need to login?

In order to provide Fastcase as a free member benefit, we require login to valid membership to the State Bar of Wisconsin.

How do I login?

The fastest way to login to WisBar.org is by using the login button at the top of every page. Simply use your e-mail address (or member ID) and password and click the login button.

  • Email address is the address that is in your State Bar profile. If you are a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and do not know which email address we have on file for you, go to our Lawyer Directory and look up your record. If you are not a member of the State Bar and do not know the email address on your profile, contact Customer Service.

  • Membership number is your State Bar of Wisconsin membership number. If your membership number begins with a zero, such as 01020356, enter the number without the leading zero, like 1020356. If you are a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and do not know your membership number, go to our Lawyer Directory and look up your record. If you are not a member of the State Bar and do not know your membership number, contact Customer Service.

  • If you know your email address, but do not know your password, you can reset it by using the Forgot your password? page. On the Forgot your password? page, you will need to enter the email address that is in your State Bar profile. Once you submit the form, an email message containing instructions on resetting your password will be sent to that address. If you do not get an email with these instructions, or do not have an email address on file, contact Customer Service.

When I go to Fastcase Advanced Search is asks me to login, signup, or pay $95/mo. What am I doing wrong?

Due to security technology employed by the State Bar of Wisconsin, you need to Add Fastcase as a Trusted Site. Once you complete the following step you should have free access as expected.

Internet Explorer

  1. Go to Tools.
  2. Click on Internet Options
  3. Click on the Security tab.
  4. Select "Trusted Sites" (Green Checkmark).
  5. Click the "Sites" button.
  6. Add *.fastcase.com as a Trusted Site.
  7. Click OK to both Open dialogs.
  8. Close your browser and re-open it.

Firefox

  1. Go to Tools.
  2. Click on Options.
  3. Select the Privacy tab.
  4. Go to Cookies.
  5. Click the "Exceptions" button.
  6. Add *.fastcase.com
  7. Click Allow/Enable.
  8. Click OK to open dialog.
  9. Close your browser and re-open it.
