Family Law Section

This section monitors family case and statutory law, and develops legislation for improvement of these laws. The section sponsors CLE seminars at State Bar conventions, has a listserv for members, and organizes the Family Law Workshop each August in Door County.

It also publishes the quarterly Wisconsin Journal of Family Law. Working committees (some of which are open to all section members) include: Gender Bias, Guardian ad Litem, Legislation, Child Support, Custody, Door County Workshop, Family Law Practice, Internet, Property Division and two multidisciplinary committees on accounting and mental health issues. Section Dues are free for all first-year attorneys.
