    The Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers has changed its name to the Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) to better reflect its mission to preserve the justice system and help maintain a fair and impartial judiciary.     Melanie Stinson Newby, Cincinnati 1974, received a Life Member Award from the National Association of College and University Attorneys at its annual conference in San Diego. She retired as vice chancellor for legal and executive affairs at U.W.-Madison.

    Glenn       Stoddard Glenn M. Stoddard, U.W. 1994, received the Good Citizen Award in October from the John Muir chapter of the Sierra Club for his pro bono work on behalf of the organization. He is a solo practitioner in Eau Claire.
