    The Hon.Shirley Abrahamson, Indiana University-Bloomington 1956, spoke at an ABA Litigation Section symposium that focused on "The Vanishing Trial: An Examination of Trials and Related Matters in Federal and State Court," a report by Prof. Marc Galanter of the U.W. Law School. Abrahamson is chief justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

    Judith A. Langer , Marquette 1985, presented "HIPAA Privacy: A Real World Perspective" to the 5th Annual Convention of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals in Reno in November. She is with Cobalt Corp., Milwaukee.

    Michael P. Maxwell, Marquette 2001, presented a seminar on worker's compensation subrogation at the 5th Annual Convention of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals in Reno in November. He also has been appointed to the private panel of chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He is managing partner of Maxwell & Baldwin LLP, Milwaukee.
