    Rhonda K. Frank-Loron, U.W. 2000, has joined the U.S. Probation Office, Western District of Wisconsin, Madison, as a probation officer.

    Joshua Fredericks, U.W. 2003, has joined State Bar CLE as an attorney editor. He previously was a staff attorney with the Dane County Circuit Court and also clerked with the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.

    James C. Green, Marquette 1991, has been named corporate vice president _ general counsel for Patch Products, Beloit, a game and puzzle manufacturer and marketer. He previously was with a Milwaukee-based firm.

    Five attorneys have been elected shareholders with Godfrey & Kahn S.C. In the Madison office: Jeffrey J. Femrite, Marquette 1991, is with the real estate group. Steven A.     Susan Ham Martin, U.W. 1994 cum laude, has been appointed vice president, corporate secretary, and associate general counsel of Wisconsin Energy Corp., Milwaukee. She previously was law director of We Generation, a part of We Energies.

    Kerrie L. Liedtke, Iowa 2001, and Matthew P. Vosters, U.W. 2001, have joined McCarty Law LLP, Appleton. Liedtke focuses on business and corporate law; she previously practiced with O'Connor & Thomas P.C., Dubuque, and Omholt & Forsythe S.C., Iola. Vosters focuses on estate planning and business law; he previously was with Deloitte Tax LLP, Milwaukee.

    David B. Feingold, Chicago 1973, and Renee A. Read, St. Louis 2004, are partners in the new general practice firm Feingold & Read LLP, Janesville. Read previously was an associate with the predecessor firm, Feingold & Associates LLC.

    Matthew L. Goldin, Baltimore 1991, and William M. Lennon, U.W. 1984, have formed Goldin & Lennon LLC, Oshkosh, focusing on criminal, traffic, real estate, and personal injury matters.     Patti Wright Cronin, U.W. 1983, has been appointed executive director of Read Aloud America Inc., Honolulu, a nonprofit organization that promotes family literacy. She previously was executive director of the Wisconsin Waste Facility Siting Board and was with the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands.

    The Douglas County Bar Association has elected the following officers: president - Parrish J.R. Jones; president-elect - Jamy R. Johnasen; and secretary/treasurer - Johanna R. Kirk, all of Superior.

    Erik R. Guenther, U.W. 2002, has been elected president of the American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin. He also was selected as the 2007 "Warrior of the Year" by the Dane County Criminal Defense Bar Association for his work to improve the Afghanistan legal system. He is a criminal defense attorney with Hurley, Burish & Stanton S.C., Madison.

    Jamie   Johnson Jamie Johnson, U.W. 1987, has been appointed to the Judicial Advisory Council by Gov. Jim Doyle. The council helps the governor make appointments to fill mid-term vacancies at the circuit and appellate court levels in Wisconsin.
