    Understanding the New Rules of Professional Conduct for Attorneys

    To help members understand the impact of these changes, the State Bar is offering CLE programs and will provide continuing coverage in the Wisconsin LawyerTM magazine. Members can find new SCR Chapter 20 and other guidance online at www.wisbar.org/rulesofconduct.

    Ethics seminars. Seminars in various delivery formats and locations are scheduled, including:

    • teleseminars - March 22 and April 13, 12 - 1:30 p.m. (CST)
    • live seminar - March 27, 8:25 - 11:15 a.m., Wausau. This seminar is offered in conjunction with the State Bar's Practice411TM law office management assistance program and is cosponsored by the Solo and Small Firm Practice Committee. Hot breakfast is included.
    • live seminar - May 10, 1 - 4:35 p.m., Milwaukee. Cosponsored by the Nonresident Lawyers Division, the Professional Ethics Committee, and the Professionalism Committee, this seminar will be held in conjunction with the State Bar Annual Convention. Attendance is open to all convention attendees who register for the Thursday programs.
