senior associate athletic director at U.W.-Madison. He previously was

focus on municipal law, particularly zoning, planning and land use, and

Ambassador John E. Lange, U.W. 1975, has been named
special representative on avian and pandemic influenza at the U.S.
Department of State, Washington, D.C.
Patrick Blaney, Georgetown 2004, and Ross
Townsend, U.W. 1987, have joined Liebmann, Conway, Olejniczak
& Jerry S.C., Green Bay. Blaney provides general counsel to clients.
Townsend, formerly with a Wichita-based energy company, focuses on
employment and labor law.
Andrew Norman, U.W. 2005 magna cum laude, has joined
the Madison office of Quarles & Brady LLP as an associate and

Peter K. Richardson, Minnesota 1991, and
(John) Wesley Warren, Harvard 2002, have joined the law
department at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., Milwaukee.

the products and distribution team. Warren is a counsel on the products

The Hon. Kitty K. Brennan, U.W. 1977, received a
2006 Mentor of the Year Award from TEMPO Milwaukee. She is chief judge
of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
Erik R. Guenther, U.W. 2002, was recognized by
In Business magazine's annual "40 Under 40" report on
