    Claire Ann Resop, U.W. 1993, has joined the Madison office of Brennan, Steil & Basting S.C. as a shareholder, concentrating in bankruptcy, including creditors' rights, corporate clients, litigation, collection, and real estate. She also is on the panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the Western District of Wisconsin.

    Jeffrey J. Serum, U.W. 2002, has joined the Minneapolis office of Fredrikson & Byron P.A. in the real estate group, focusing on acquisition, development, construction, leasing, and financing of commercial and residential properties.     The Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee has moved its downtown offices to 521 N. Eighth St., Milwaukee. Debra N. Fohr, Marquette 2002, has joined Legal Aid as a staff attorney, practicing in family court matters. She previously had her own practice in Wauwatosa.

    Steven F. Gruel, U.W. 1985, received a California Lawyer Attorney of the Year award in March for his work in investigating and prosecuting members of an organized crime group, a prosecution that will be featured on 60 Minutes. He is a sole practitioner in San Francisco, concentrating in criminal defense, immigration law, and civil rights litigation. He previously was a federal prosecutor in San Francisco.
