Sept. 25, 2014 – Gov. Scott Walker is seeking applicants for judicial appointments to the Langlade County Circuit Court.

The new appointee will replace outgoing Langlade County Circuit Court Judge Fred W. Kawalski, whose resignation is effective Nov. 28, 2014. The new appointee, should he or she choose to run, would be up for election in April 2015.

Those applying for the Langlade County judicial post must submit their application materials no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014.

To apply, interested individuals should submit a judicial application (scroll to the bottom of the page to find the MS Word application link), together with a cover letter, resume (not to exceed two pages), a list of three to four references, and two writing samples.

Submit completed application materials and any questions via email to govjudicialappointments@wisconsin.gov. Following submission, you will receive an email confirming that your application was received, and describing the general appointment process. Questions can also be directed to Brian Hagedorn at (608) 266-1212.
