    Dane County Launches New Basic Estate Planning Clinic for Seniors

    Madison, WI – A local coalition including the State Bar of Wisconsin, Dane County Bar Association, Madison College Paralegal Program, ​Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources (GWAAR), and CUNA Mutual Group, will launch a new legal clinic on Saturday, July 19.

    At the Basic Estate Planning Clinic for Seniors, 10 local attorneys and 10 local paralegals or paralegal students will volunteer their Saturday morning to help approximately 30 senior citizens create basic wills and power of attorney documents. The clinic focuses on serving low-income and veteran seniors and will happen every other month. The next clinic is scheduled for September 20, 2014.

    The clinic operates by appointment only - no drop-in appointments are available. A few appointments remain. To schedule an appointment to meet with an attorney at the July 19 clinic, please call 608-261-9930.
