    Final Order 17-05: Amendments to Wis. Stat. Ch. 809 Relating to Rules of Appellate Procedure in Multiparty Cases

    The Wisconsin Judicial Council petitioned the court to amend certain sections of Wis. Stat. ch. 809 to clarify the current rules of appellate procedure relating to the size, number, and timing of briefs in multiparty cases.

    ORDER ISSUED: November 9, 2017

    DISPOSITION: Petition granted. Amendments to Wis. Stat. Ch. 809 effective July 1, 2018, and apply to appeals filed on or after the effective date of this rule.
