    State Bar Election Results Are In – Gagan Takes Top Slot

    Amy Wochos, Milwaukee, was elected to a three-year seat on the Judicial Council.

    April 26, 2013 – Robert Gagan, Calewarts, Duffy, Gagan, Green Bay, won the race for State Bar president-elect, defeating Charles E. Hanson, Hale, Skemp, Hanson, Skemp & Sleik, La Crosse, 2,421 votes to 2,332. Gagan’s term begins July 1 when Patrick Fiedler, Madison, succeeds Kevin Klein as State Bar president.

    “I am honored to have been elected president-elect of the State Bar,” said Gagan. “I thank my opponent, Chuck Hanson, for making this a collegial and amicable campaign. I thank my immediate and extended family for their encouragement and support. I want to thank the State Bar staff, my supporters, and all members who took the time to vote and return their ballots. I look forward to the opportunity to serve all of you.”

    In other State Bar races, Kevin Lyons, Davis & Kuelthau S.C., Milwaukee, was elected to a two-year term as treasurer, defeating Theodore Molinari, Birdsall Law Offices S.C., Milwaukee, 3,126 votes to 1,289.

    Amy E. Wochos, Milwaukee County Courthouse, Milwaukee, defeated Robert Jaskulski, Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., Milwaukee, for a three-year seat on the Judicial council, 2,682 votes to 1,791.
