    State Bar Election Ballots Are In the Mail – Deadline Is April 26

    April 17, 2013 – State Bar members will elect a president-elect, treasurer, Judicial Council representative, district governors, and division officers next week. State Bar officer and district governors ballots were mailed on April 8 via U.S. mail.

    New this year, Government, Nonresident, and Young Lawyers division members who have email addresses on file at the State Bar received election ballots electronically on April 12. If you do not have an email address on file at the State Bar, your ballots were sent in the U.S. mail.

    If you did not receive your division electronic ballot and you do have an email address on file with the State Bar, check your junk mail folder and spam filter. If it is not there, contact Cara Mavis at the State Bar.

    Ballots are due to the Bar no later than April 26. State Bar officer and district governor results will be posted to WisBar on April 26. Division results will be posted as they become available the following week.

    The winning candidates will assume their offices on July 1.
