    Governor Walker seeks applicants for judicial vacancies 

    May 13, 2011 – Governor Scott Walker is seeking applicants for judicial appointment to the Second District Court of Appeals and three circuit court positions.

    The new appointees will replace the following outgoing jurists:

    • Second District Court of Appeals Judge Daniel P. Anderson (effective June 25, 2011);

    • Manitowoc County Circuit Court Judge Darryl W. Deets (effective June 24, 2011);

    • Outagamie County Circuit Court Judge Harold V. Froehlich (retired, April 8, 2011); and

    • Richland County Circuit Court Judge Edward E. Leineweber (effective June 30, 2011).

    To apply, interested individuals should submit a Judicial Application (found on Governor Walker’s website, www.walker.wi.gov), together with a cover letter, resume (not to exceed two pages) and a list of three to four references.
