    U.W. Law School seeks volunteers to judge Annual Moot Court Competition in Madison, March 26 - 28

    Feb. 17, 2010 – The U.W. Law School seeks volunteer attorneys and judges from state and federal courts to serve as judges at the Sixteenth Annual Evan A. Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition, March 26 - 28, in Madison.

    Moot court is a mock appellate advocacy experience that helps law students develop strong writing and oral advocacy skills, intellectual flexibility, the ability to function well under pressure, and the self-confidence necessary to be successful advocates. Oral arguments will begin on Friday afternoon, March 26, and conclude on Sunday afternoon, March 28. Approval for a maximum of 4.0 CLE teaching credits is pending.
