State Bar breaks tradition, will honor 50-year members at special summer event

Feb. 3, 2010 – In a break from the traditional luncheon held during the Annual Convention in May, the State Bar will honor members who pass the 50-year milestone in the legal profession in 2010 at a special event to be held in June or July.

Why the change? More than 55 percent of this year’s honorees live or work in the Milwaukee area, and many retired members who spend the winter months in warmer states do not return to Wisconsin until late spring. It is hoped that the rescheduling of this event will make it easier for more honorees to attend.

The State Bar congratulates the following members who were admitted to practice law in Wisconsin in 1960.
