    How the Lending Library works

The Lending Library is for State Bar members and their staff. Office staff can check out materials with approval from the attorney, who accepts responsibility for lost or damaged items. To borrow materials, members must complete a short application form, available in MS Word or Adobe PDF format, or email the State Bar to request an application.

The State Bar can ship materials to you or you can pick them up. Items are due three weeks from the date of shipping or pick up. You may check out up to two resources at a time. If you need a resource for longer than three weeks, just like your hometown library, you can renew for one more week if no one else has placed a hold on the item. Borrowing resources is free, the only cost involved is shipping. The cost to ship one item is $7.50 and two items is $10.

New resources are added regularly. If you are looking for a resource and don't see it, please email or call (800) 444-9404, ext. 6014.
