Feb. 4, 2009 – The Insurance for Members Committee announces an enhancement to the State Bar of Wisconsin group term life insurance program. State Bar members can purchase up to $500,000 in group Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance coverage, payable for a covered loss under the group insurance policy. All State Bar members and full-time employees of their law firms who are under age 70 are eligible to apply and have guaranteed acceptance into the plan. The new group premium rates for this plan are not available to the general public.
The coverage is available through Bultman Financial and is underwritten by ReliaStar Life Insurance Company with an administrative office in Minneapolis. State Bar members will receive enrollment forms in the mail.
