Divisions Elect New Officers
April 28, 2014 – The Government, Nonresident, Senior, and Young Lawyers divisions announce incoming officers and directors. The presidents-elect serve a one-year term before becoming president and then serve one year as past president. All terms begin on July 1.
Ralph Cagle Takes Top Slot in State Bar Elections
April 25, 2014 – Ralph M. Cagle won the race for State Bar president-elect, defeating, Kevin J. Palmersheim, 3,495 votes to 1,973. Cagle’s term begins July 1 when Robert R. Gagan, Madison, succeeds Patrick J. Fiedler as State Bar president.
City Attorneys: Powerful Tools for Eradicating Problem Properties

Vote by April 25 in State Bar Elections
April 16, 2014 – The State Bar will elect a president-elect, secretary, Judicial Council representative, district governors, and division officers this month. Ballots, which were mailed last week, must be received by the Bar no later than April 25. The winning candidates will assume their offices on July 1.
Stellar Cast of Stars to be Honored at Annual Meeting & Conference in June
April 16, 2014 – The Member Recognition Celebration at the 2014 State Bar Annual Meeting & Conference is brimming with awards and is free to all conference attendees. The celebration, which recognizes attorneys, judges, law firms, organizations, and law students who have made outstanding pro bono, public service, or public education contributions in 2013, will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, June 26, at Lake Geneva.
