Greenberg on Greenberg: Further Defining the Duties of a Land Contract Vendor

The Greenberg court concluded that to the extent real property was conveyed to the vendee under a standard land contract, the vendor did not retain any ownership other than the bare legal title. The governing statute in this case did not define "ownership"; thus, the court had to determine what combination of sticks or rights, less the whole bundle, constituted ownership. More
