Every Wisconsin-licensed attorney automatically receives one free directory in January.
The Nonresident Lawyers Division publishes a membership directory categorized by state in the Wisconsin Lawyer Directory. The listing includes up to three areas of practice for nonresident members, which are taken from their most recently submitted dues statements. If you are in need of a referral, the division encourages you to use this listing of fellow State Bar of Wisconsin members.
The Wisconsin Lawyer Directory includes the Lawyer-to-Lawyer Directory - a listing of more than 700 lawyers willing to share their knowledge in various areas of practice with other State Bar of Wisconsin members.

This program provides State Bar of Wisconsin members, their families and staff with toll-free phone access to confidential assistance with stress related and alcohol or drug dependency problems. The Helpline number is (800) 543-2625. This is a 24/7 program.
State Bar of Wisconsin members have access to informal guidance and help in resolving questions regarding Wisconsin’s Rules of Professional Conduct for Attorneys from the staff ethics attorney by calling (608) 250-6168 or (800) 444-9404, ext. 6168 during regular business hours.
