Not all lawyers can represent clients and even those who do volunteer know that we cannot solve this problem without the staff lawyers who do this work full-time.  If you can't volunteer, what is the monetary value of an hour or two of your time?  You can make a contribution of any amount directly to a legal aid organization near you, or you can donate through one of the following foundations (be sure to designate your contribution for legal aid to the disadvantaged).
