Networking

• Sections: Attend specialized CLE programs, receive newsletters, network with others in your specialties, and join in discussion forums through the State Bar's 26 sections.
• Annual Convention: Join more than 1,000 colleagues at the largest annual gathering of lawyers in Wisconsin. Choose from more than 20 education sessions, gain valuable CLE credits, and network with leaders in the legal profession.
• CLE Seminars: Find a variety of practical seminars, presented year round, and delivered in a variety of convenient ways and network with others in attendance.
• Email lists (section or division membership required)
• Email list of solo practitioners and small firms (open to all)
• Lawyer-to-Lawyer Directory: Access more than 700 lawyers who have agreed to share their knowledge of particular areas of the law with other lawyers through brief, 10- minute telephone consultations - free of charge.
• Committees: You can help shape your profession's future by serving on one of the State Bar's standing and special committees. Each year, the incoming State Bar president fills the open spots on standing committees and appoints members of the special committees.
• Divisions: The State Bar offers its members the opportunity to meet and work with other attorneys who share important characteristics through participation in the Bar's four divisions. Divisions are organized under broad categories that reflect the location and experience of Bar members.

• Local Bar Associations: This area allows local and specialty bars to use the Internet to convey news and information to their members and interested parties throughout the Badger State. We have also included useful information from the State Bar on various programs and project initiatives of direct interest to local and specialty bars.
