Law-related Education

Programs

The State Bar of Wisconsin's Public Education Committee promotes understanding of the law and citizenship through interactive educational experiences designed to foster among citizens an understanding of their democratic rights and responsibilities.

We offer programs and materials designed to provide:

  • Appreciation of the law
  • Familiarity with the court system
  • Knowledge of the legal process
  • Awareness of the principles and values upon which our legal system is based

Resources available include several free publications, and both free and fee-based programs:

Educational Programming

The State Bar of Wisconsin sponsors a variety of law-related programs that range from a high school mock trial tournament to Project Citizen for elementary school students. These programs offer unique opportunities to bring law-related education to schools and communities. We are also happy to assist interested teachers in finding a willing attorney to come to their classroom and speak on a variety of legal topics.

Law Related Education programs include:

Mock Trial: “I was impressed, even shocked at the quality of the advocacy from all the students.  They did a superb job.”  - Mock Trial judge
