Law-related Education

Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in the legal system!

Marsha Varvil-Weld

The goal of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Law-Related Education website is to help educators, students, and the public learn about and understand the legal system through publications and programs that provide active, hands-on experiences. We accomplish this through the volunteer efforts of judges, attorneys, educators, and citizens.

Feel free to explore our resources, volunteer opportunities, and programs. We welcome your comments.

We the People: “I continue to enthusiastically use the We the People for one important reason. It provides the clearest and most educationally relevant information about citizenship that my students can master. I thank you and the We the People program for continuing to offer such excellent resources.  I’ve been a social studies teacher for the last 18 years and I’ve really enjoyed my experiences with We the People.” - John Thompson, Otto Schultz Elementary School
