Landlord accountability: Advising and defending the property owner

July 1, 2009 – In this video clip, Milwaukee attorney Tristan Pettit explains the importance of the property owner’s consistent use of written criteria when screening potential tenants. He contends that use of this objective criteria will help landlords defend themselves in fair housing complaints.

Pettit spoke at the Government Lawyers Division program at the State Bar Annual Convention in May.
