State Bar of Wisconsin members receive the annual Wisconsin Lawyer Directory in January. Published since 1989, this directory is the most reliable resource for information about Wisconsin's legal community.
The 670-page directory contains attorney alphabetical and geographical rosters; Wisconsin law firms and corporations; listings of federal, state, and tribal courts, including court personnel; directory of vendors providing law-related services; contact information for the State Bar of Wisconsin and other law-related organizations; 2009 Wisconsin Lawyer index; and Lawyer-to-Lawyer Directory.

President's message
The effort to make the bar voluntary began a long time ago with a small group of senior lawyers who treated this then-new lawyer not as a “kid” but as an equal and a colleague. The effort continues today.
