State Bar committees

You can help shape your profession's future and network with your colleagues by serving on one of the State Bar's standing and special committees. Each year, the incoming State Bar president fills the open spots on standing committees and appoints members of the special committees.Visit the Leadership Opportunities Directory for specific information on committee volunteer opportunities and to obtain a Committee Volunteer Interest Form. You also can send a letter of interest or email to Jan Marks .

New this year is the requirement that all committees file a report with the Board of Governors for every Board of Governors meeting. This new activity is designed to help keep the Board apprised of your committee’s progress. A simple form has been created to help you fulfill this new action.
