  • Wisconsin Lawyer July 2008: Ethics: Border Hopping: New Rules on Multijurisdictional Practices: The Wisconsin Supreme Court has tentatively approved changes to SCR 20:5.5 regarding multijurisdictional practice in Wisconsin, both for lawyers not licensed in Wisconsin who occasionally provide legal services to clients in Wisconsin and for Wisconsin-licensed lawyers who provide legal services to clients in other jurisdictions in which they are not licensed to practice.

  • Nonprofit Business Assistance Program: Small and emerging nonprofit organizations throughout Wisconsin can receive up to two hours of counselling from a business lawyer at no cost. This service is provided by members of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Your lawyer can help to identify problems affecting your organization and develop a plan for solving those problems.
  • News Release June 2000: Business Law Section of State Bar wins award: The State Bar of Wisconsin's Business Law Section was honored earlier this month by the U.S. Small Business Administration with Wisconsin's 2000 Small Business Legal Assistance of the Year Award. The honor is in recognition of the section's contributions to the state's economic development.
